Elin Nordegren Could Get a New Career After Tiger Woods Scandal

Elin Nordegren's divorce from Tiger Woods has finally become ... final. Tiger and Elin have been in headlines since the day after Thanksgiving, and they will probably remain in the spotlight for another week or two. However, the tragedy that was their marriage is now over, and now we want to hear what the two have to say now that all is said and done.

Most interesting is to see what Elin will become. Of course, the rumored $100 million settlement is sure to keep her from ever having to worry about money. However, like most other people in the world, she likely wants to have purpose and be able to grow from the situation.

Reports indicate that Elin wants to become a child psychologist and help children of divorce. This is a noble profession, to say the least - and it's one that will likely be very rewarding as well.

In the middle of the scandal, Elin is said to have enrolled in a school in Orlando for a three year program. After the program is completed, she will have to take professional exams.

This is the prime example of how you can take a negative and make it in to a positive. Many people would likely falter in the face of this scandal, but from the reports, it appears as if Elin is using it to grow.

Some people are very critical of Nordegren, mainly because of the large divorce settlement she received. However, I find something very different about her. She's classy and she doesn't appear to me to be someone that's just after a quick buck. In fact, after the divorce was final she said the following about the settlement:

"money can't buy happiness, or put my family back together"

So while Elin Woods isn't watching golf anymore, she's got plenty to keep her busy. She's going to co-parent with Tiger Woods - but most likely the kids will be with her the majority of the time. She's got her studies to tend to, and in a few years she will have a career of her own.

There's a bright side to every situation, and it's good that Elin Nordegren was able to find it. It's not every day people find their purpose in such sad situations.

    when a family breaks up no one wins I feel sorry for both Tiger and Elin Tiger lost his family and Elin was heart broken and lost her trust in Tiger that's hard to overcome. I hope they both heal and can work things out for the kids. If you didn't live in the home you really don't know what goes on only the people inside so don't judge either party. I feel sorry for both and the kids. No one wins in situations like this.

    Pleaaaase no more about this golddigging, non-modeling Nanny! No one feels sorry for someone who grabbed $100 million they didn't earn.

    BTW, isn't caving in your spouse's face with a 9 iron still a felony. If so, why isn't she in jail? Oh I forgot she was trying to save him. LOL.

    From now on, "Elin" is Swedish for "Gold Digger."

    pondhopper, let me ask you a question. do you know elin personally for you to say that her comment came from a pr? she was honest enough to admit that it does make things easier for her, coz she never has to worry about her finances anymore and she gets to spend more time with her kids, so what makes you so sure that her comment, including the admission that money does make things easier, was from a great pr at work?

    I am glad that Elin Nordegren did not allow Tiger and his team to silence her, even though it cost her millions from the divorce settlement! Elin is free at last from the despicable Tiger Woods who seems to have very serious issues! Elin Nordegren appears to be a woman true to herself and there is no money that can buy the dignity, self respect, courage and moral principles of a true woman!!! I am very glad that Elin is free at last from Tiger Woods!!!What Tiger Woods did to Elin Nordegren was criminal and coward! He showed no compassion, respect or caring for his wife or children! I believe that Elin has a right to tell her story to the world since she and the children are the only true innocent victims in this horrid ordeal! I commend Elin for her courage and determination to come public! She is truly an inspiration to all the decent women around the world! I know that Elin and her precious children will have a very happy future!!!
