Eliza Dushku Stars in "Dollhouse" and Poses for Maxim

In the new television series "Dollhouse," Eliza Dushku plays a woman named Echo who is programmed with thousands of different personalities. Her brain has been erased so that she can be programmed with different personalities and skills to carry out missions for all types of clients. The twist with "Dollhouse" is that Echo is starting to remember some of her past memories and people who are playing with her mind. According to the actress, the show will only get better and better as the time goes along since the story line will keep developing with who Echo is and who is programming her. Each episode will have Echo taking on a new identity and client and trying to make sense of what she is remembering.

"Dollhouse" was created by Joss Whedon, who also created "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and Angel. Eliza Dushku is the main character in this television series and has a 10 year relationship with Joss Whedon, as she was featured on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and continued to work with Joss Whedon. Dushku and Whedon came up with the ideas for this character and television show together, working out what kind of show they exactly wanted to make. Dushku is the executive producer of the show also.

Eliza Dushku has been doing some promotion work for "Dollhouse" also. She just recently posed for the cover of the March issue of Maxim magazine. She also has a feature spread in the same Maxim issue were she is half dressed in the pictures. But if you know anything about Maxim magazine then you know that this is par for the game. This is one way that you can bring viewers into your television show. In the magazine she talks about "Dollhouse" and other personal issues in her life.

Television critics are not giving "Dollhouse" the best reviews. Most are saying that the only reason it may make is because of Joss Whedon and the tons of fans that he has from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Not one of the critics is hailing Eliza Dushku as the next Sarah Michelle Gellar though and state that she may not be a strong enough actress for this lead character.

Dollhouse premieres on Friday, February 13 on FOX at 9:00 p.m.

I am so out of the loop, I don't even know who this person IS!

Eliza Dushku is one of my favorite actors, whether the show is getting touted because of Joss Whedon or not I think it will be worth watching.

Sounds like a show that could become addicting.
