Elizabeth Arden Perfect Covering Concealer Performs Perfectly!

If you've ever spent money on overpriced makeup and been disappointed with the results, you're not alone. The claims on the bottles and the commercials make the product sound like the perfect solution. When you get it home from the store and go to apply it, you usually find out the real story. It's just like all the others! Fortunately, Elizabeth Arden Perfect Covering Concealer is a happy exception. It's one of the few makeup products I've found that actually lives up to its lofty claims!

I got my first tube of Perfect Covering Concealer from an Elizabeth Arden gift pack several years ago. At the time I had a rather obvious acne lesion on my face which nothing seemed to cover. I halfheartedly chose to apply Elizabeth Arden's Perfect Covering Concealer to the unsightly area.. Success! Although the lesion was still faintly visible, it was so well covered that I felt I felt comfortable showing my face again. Since then, I've continued to purchase the product on a regular basis and have been more than pleased with the results. The product has a nice texture and consistency to it. The colors are designed to blend smoothly with your own skin color with excellent coverage.It's great for downplaying those dark circles you get under your eyes from lack of sleep as well as for a variety of other skin imperfections from acne lesions to facial scratches.

I generally apply the concealing cream after using my base foundation and then follow up with a dusting of pressed powder to help set the concealer and give long lasting coverage. The concealer is best applyed by dabbing a small amount of the product onto the face with the tip of a clean cotton swab. It takes very little of the concealer to achieve excellent coverage, so don't go overboard. The coverage should las all day if applied properly.

The one drawback I have to mention is the price. It tends to be a bit expensive, but, in my opinion, is an excellent value since it really works unlike many of the other overpriced makeup products on the market.. I've tried so many concealers and none of them have given me the quality of coverage I've been able to achieve with this product. When a product truly does what it's purported to do, I'm willing to pay.
