History of Ella W. Sharp Park:
Ella Sharp Park came into being through the donation of a Michigan farm owner Ella W. When she died in 1912 the wheels for Ella W. Sharp Park went into motion and within a few short years the roads and play areas were laid out along with the gardens. About 20 years later Ella Sharp's house was turned into what is now the Ella Sharp Museum.

It sounds like a neat park. Jackson is only about 3 1/2 hours from us, we'll have to come explore some day.

I have been past Jackson on I-94. I didn't stray far from the highway, though. I may have exited to buy gas or something and got back on the road.
