Elvis, Dora and Belle

My sister's guests will visit a spell
She'll entertain Elvis, Dora and Belle
What gifts shall I get them she asks of me
Gosh I've no clue, I say to appease

How bout some wine or Tequila Gold,
Or are these gifts a bit too bold?
Do they like books, I offer with zest
She laughs at that signifying I jest

What about chocolate I offer again
Well, chocolate she says is a royal sin!
These guests of yours do they like candy?
They cannot have that, but do think its dandy

What of a lovely scented candle?
A nice thought, too, yet one they can't handle
Do they smoke a pipe or like to ski?
She snickers and says; now you're kidding me!

What about booties, came out of my mouth?
Well, maybe for Belle, she is from the South
Just two more gifts...let's think in the zone
Never mind she resigns, I will get them all bones

Bones for your visitors I am totally miffed
What kind of host presents this as a gift?
To the fire, sister adds a great log
I failed to mention, my guests are three dogs!

Elvis, Dora and Belle are my nephew's beloved dogs. When her boys come home for Christmas, the dogs come, too and my sister welcomes them with open arms!
