Elycia Turnbow and Frankie Muniz Still Crazy in Love After Suicide Scare

Elycia Turnbow and Frankie Muniz are reportedly still a couple after an argument last Friday involving a suicide scare. But was a gun involved?

Well, it seems that female child stars (ahem, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus) aren't the only young celebrities struggling with the pressures of growing up. According to TMZ, Frankie Muniz, who played the loveable Malcolm on "Malcolm in the Middle", recently got in an intense argument with his girlfriend Elycia Turnbow. The police report that TMZ obtained a copy of states that Elycia Turnbow and Frankie Muniz were arguing about their prior relationships when the upset actor grabbed a gun and put it to his head. After what appeared to be a suicide attempt, Elycia Turnbow called one of Frankie Muinz' friends to take him to the hospital. Well, that was her side of the story.

Frankie Muniz, however, contended that the reason for his hospital visit was that he fell and hit his head. He stated that he did grab the gun case, but the gun inside wasn't loaded (the police report says otherwise).

According to Elycia Turnbow's side of the story, after Frankie Muniz was released to go home, he punched her in the back of the head and threw her into a wall. He, however, contends that Elycia Turnbow woke him up by yelling at him and hitting him in the face, and he was simply defending himself when she fell to the ground. Frankie made sure to tell the cops that he wants to marry his lovely lady, but his gun was impounded. The police also didn't report any visible injuries.

After this dramatic report, Frankie's rep went into damage control mode, releasing a statement saying that there was no gun and that Frankie Muniz was not suicidal. The rep says Elycia Turnbow was not assaulted, and the couple is still together.

If any of this is remotely true, it looks like this could end up being one of those toxic relationships that does not end well, a la Rihanna and Chris Brown. It's never good when your ladylove tries to get you committed for a suicide attempt or convicted of assault (that is, if Elycia Turnbow's story isn't true). But regardless of whatever actually went on, someone has to be lying. So since it seems that this couple's bizarre ballad likely won't have a happy ending, it might be a good idea to call it quits now.

But congratulations to Frankie Muniz to taking some TMZ space away from the female child star troublemakers with their salvia smoking and court cases, and perhaps there's a future for Frankie Muniz as the face of a pro gun control campaign.
