  6. The major advantage of email marketing is that it is environment friendly as it involves no use of paper.

Disadvantages of Email Marketing

  1. Many companies promote their product or service via Email marketing only but other companies send bulk emails with no aim of marketing. This has disappointed many people resulting in decreased performance of email marketing. Thus, email marketing is considered more to be a threat than doing anything good.
  2. Although, the email sent to the people carries an option to unsubscribe from the list, many of the companies go on sending the email again and again.
  3. With an increasing number of spam emails, it has become difficult for the users to differentiate between a genuine marketing email and a spam email.

You should take the proper steps to ensure 100% success of email marketing considering the current trend of the market where hundreds of spam emails are delivered to every email user.
