I consider it a huge score when I find a decent bath and body product at the local dollar store because, well, it only costs a dollar. I made this particular purchase at the Dollar Tree when they had just acquired a vast new stock of bath and body products. I smelled Embrace the Body™ Strength Coconut Scented Shower Gel in the store and knew I had to at least give it a try.

I've been using this shower gel for about a week now and every time I do it's like taking a bath in an Almond Joy (and for me that would be a good thing because I love Almond Joys). The scent of coconut is so strong and refreshing that it takes your mind back to summer days at the beach.

The gel itself is a thick creamy white consistency just as you would expect for a coconut shower gel. It must have an overabundance of moisturizing properties because the lathering capabilities are slim, soon after spreading the gel over the skin more product is needed due to the minimal lathering. I personally like a lot of lather with my shower gels so I'm not a huge fan of this one quality.

As mentioned earlier, I purchased my 5.9 fluid ounce bottle of Embrace the Body™ Strength Coconut Scented Shower Gel at my local Dollar Tree for $1. Compare that to the standard $8-$20 cost for shower gel and this product is clearly a great buy.

While the lathering properties of Embrace the Body™ Strength Coconut Scented Shower Gel are not to my liking, the scent and price most certainly are so I consider this purchase a total find, well worth the mere $1 I spent on it.

I would rate this product five out of ten stars, and for $1 per bottle that's fine by me.
