Embrace Failure, If You Don't You Will Never Achieve Success

Nikki Legacy
Success is harmonic living; it is not limited to wealth. It includes peace-of-mind, love, and sustained happiness. If you ever wish to achieve success then you have to learn to embrace failure.

Why Is It So Important To Embrace Failure?

If Benjamin Franklin had not failed 999 times, he never would have discovered electricity? Are you exempt from this sort of trying and testing? The willingness to fail infinitely is a common thread among the world's greatest successes.

"Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." _Robert Francis Kennedy

If you have dreams and goals, which you greatly desire to achieve, then you need to look at yourself in the mirror. Speak to yourself, and say this, "I know I'm going to fail several times - perhaps many. But I know that failure and success are a package deal. One is my trainer, and the other is my reward."

"Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go." _William Feather

It took me years to embrace failure, but the reward is priceless. I had to convince myself that the words in this scripture were true to life - "Count it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds. Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." _James 1: 2-4

Now, I know that might be a little deep for anyone who is not a Seeker, but please allow me to explain it in simple, layman's terms...

Some of us were born to achieve "greatness" - achieving something beyond what we ever could have dreamed possible (like America electing an African American president). Most people who were born to achieve leaps and bounds, have had this inner "feeling" all of their life. But to achieve such greatness does not come without a price. And the main rites-of-passage that every great achiever experiences, is the "failure loop". It seems like a loop of failures because you keep experiencing them over and over again. Can you imagine trying something 999 times before you finally succeed? Most of us do not have that kind of ambition.

Only Uncommon People Achieve Uncommon Things.

History has proven time and time again that those who achieve success possessed an unyielding, steadfast determination to never give up. And this is what you must take from all of this - here is the lesson that you must learn:

"Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm." _Sir Winston Churchill

From this day forward, do yourself a favor and practice embracing failure. Look yourself in the mirror everyday, and remind yourself that failure is just one of the bumps you pass by while driving down the road to success.
