Embracing Ambiguity

Tantra Bensko
Life is flux. Any "truth" that does not allow flux creates fear, because it is not true. It is a rigidity created by the intellectual mind to hold on to the security that "now I finally understand. I've made it past chaos and this time it all makes sense." Then what? The next week, you read something totally different by one of your favorite authors that makes perfect sense. Or new facts come in. Devastation. And a lack of trust in your intellect, and in the world. What is it going to do to you next to make you feel stupid and frustrated? Actually, what are you going to do to yourself to play games with yourself and try to make you laugh at your intellectual mind? To keep from getting stuck in its stories? Everything is possible.

Being stuck in any level of our being is a mild form insanity, a kind of sickness. Any level that is stuck in one perception of reality, in a linear view of life, is not really alive, but decaying from lack of circulation of life energy. From lack of miracles. Death by lack of miracle circulation is very common.

Sadly, many people who hope most for miracles, for someone to save them from their destructive patterns of behavior, close themselves off from miracles by their hope. They are not living in the spontaneous present, the surprising, timeless, exciting now, which is their center of light. They are closing themselves down, tightening their muscles, their energy receptors, their energy burst potential, their connection with joy. Their brows are furrowed. They sit in meditation hoping for the big moment when they feel joy. They could instead be playing with a child, dancing each moment differently, laughing. Laughter is miraculous. It is what creates reality.

Creativity is playful, inventive, entertaining all possibilities. It allows surprises, odd juxtapositions. From the viewpoint of a creator, now would you choose to create fun or something very serious. The world is God's Liila, or play. Fun certainly allows more reason to occur. Laughter moves the energies of our bodies more than anything, because of the involvement of the diaphragm, particularly. We have to take breathers after being tickled! Laughter makes us feel alive, does it not? Because laughter detoxes us more than pranayama even, and brings in fresh prana, old patterns are released from our tissues into our electromagnetic field. Take the opportunity when laughing to release these patterns totally, dissolving a linear connection to your past, believing only in the laughter of the moment, sending ripples of electricity from that central point to all of your realities. Let's hope you "have" more than one reality.

  • Being stuck in the need for certain can lead to a mild feeling of insanity.
  • Needing to know the answers that sum everything up can lead to contracted muscles.
  • You can learn to love ambiguity and make your home in it, as it is inevitable.
