Dance/Pop singer Myles Marcus is displaying infectious lyrics, rhythmic beats, and strong vocal presence throughout each track on his upcoming 2011 debut album. Recorded at Roy Hamilton's Right Touch Studios in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the upcoming release features an eclectic mix of up-tempo Dance/Pop tracks and soulful R&B tunes which showcase Marcus' inspiring vocal capabilities. With collaborative efforts from Keyboardist Bogosta and Producer/Songwriter Roy Hamilton, Myles Marcus is able to transform his solo pieces into extraordinary musical arrangements on his debut album. Recommended tracks slated for release include the up-beat Dance/Pop track "Jump" and the Piano-ballad "Everytime".

On the up-beat Dance track "Jump", Marcus successfully collaborates with Producer/Songwriter Roy Hamilton to deliver catchy beats and infectious lyrics discussing one's thoughts on faded love. Marcus reflects on his thoughts on the broken relationship while singing the lyrics:"..If my love's a hurdle in your way/Then jump right over me/If my love's a burden holdin' you down/Then it's time to get off the ground/Jump so high/That you can't get over me tonight/So jump, jump right over me tonight../"Considered as his most "special" piece of work, Marcus states, "We have been told it is a tad addicting to listen to. The song is about a relationship that is ready to move on and giving each other space." Marcus continues, "This my first original and so much fun to perform live."

Through the ballad "Everytime", Marcus uses his strong vocal talents to display emotional depth behind the track. As musician John Bogosta transforms the song into a melodic Piano-filled arrangement, Marcus sings of hurt and suffering through a troubled relationship. The lyrics, " -- Everytime I look at your face/My heart and soul get erased/You look at me and I look at you/You don't see the pain you put me through -- /" describe the emotional impact one has on a failed relationship. After spending 10 minutes in Marcus' basement, the singer and his close friend, Songwriter/Keyboardist John Bogosta, created the song. Marcus recalls the moment when "Everytime" was created, "John started playing a melody on his Piano and I started singing to it, "Marcus continues, "The lyrics were so natural and just came to my head."

Singing since the tender age of 3, Myles Marcus has always had a strong passion for music. Inspired by artists such as James Brown and Christina Aguilera, Marcus showcases his wide range of vocals on an array of upbeat and rhythmic songs. Known for his unique interpretations on music classics including the 1982 hit "Mad World" (Tears for Fears), Marcus demonstrates his powerful vocals in front of audiences around the Nation. While performing live, Marcus remembers advice one given to him by a peer. "Believe in yourself, and don't sing the hardest or highest notes in the beginning of a song," Marcus recalls, "Let the audience build anticipation for that unbelievable note. Your voice is your instrument and you have to take care of it."

Currently finishing the recording process of his debut album, Myles Marcus is becoming more focused and determined than ever to reach out to listeners with his music. Set to play Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey (July 17), Marcus is busy as he continues to promote the upcoming launch of his new release.
