Eminem Defends Taylor Swift!

Everyone has heard of the Taylor Swift/Kayne West story. If you have not it, I will give a summary of it. During the 2009 MTV video Music awards, Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech for Best Female Video. During the speech, Kanye West walks up onto the stage and flat out says that Beyonce deserves the award.

Granted I am not a Taylor Swift fan, or Beyonce fan, but as the Jodi Sweeney from Full House would say 'How Rude!'.

I am not the only one who believes West was out of line. The most outspoken performer in history has broke all rules and defended Taylor Swift.

You heard me correctly.

Rapper Eminem, who is known for bashing everyone, took the stand for Taylor Swift when he told Spin "He shouldn't have done that, man. I mean, she's a little girl."

Can you get any sweeter than THAT? Out of all celebrities, Eminem was the last person I would expect to stand up for anyone. Yet, he is a good example of why you should never assume anything.

Every CD, every song, I have heard has caused more controversy than abortion rights. Eminem is known for causing a stir, yet I have to give the rapper his due on this one. He has proven to me, that he can be a gentlemen.

Perhaps there is more behind that foul mouth of his. He has shown plenty of times he does have a soft side to him, especially when it comes to his 14 year old daughter Hailie.

Hearing about Eminem standing up for another person, goes to show not all is lost in the world. If a foul mouth, controversy lover, person like Eminem can do a noble deed, than why can not the rest of us.

I am not saying we all should follow along in Eminem's footsteps. Far from it - the last thing I want is my 10 year old running around cussing and swearing. However, it does not hurt to say one nice thing about someone else every now it than.

Give it a try while you are out today. Tell a stranger they look fantastic, or offer to help that little old lady to her care.
