Eminem and Dr. Dre's "I Need a Doctor" May Be First Single on Detox

There has been speculation that Eminem and Dr.Dre's "I Need a Doctor" will be released as a single sometime later this month and that it could be a single off Detox, the long awaited Dr.Dre album. "I Need a Doctor" leaked back in November but it was obviously not mastered and sounded terrible. When this track is mastered and remixed in the studio it will probably sound a lot better.

"I Need a Doctor" was produced by Alex da Kid and features two verses by Eminem and one by Dr.Dre. Skylar Grey is on the hook for this song. I would recommend waiting for the real song to be released before listening to the leaked version.

Dr. Dre's long awaited album Detox is scheduled to be released sometime in 2011 after years and years of being pushed back. The first single off this album was "Kush" released back in November around the same time "I Need A Doctor" was leaked. The album was supposed to be released last year, but Dre pushed it back yet again. However with the first single already released we can pretty much guarantee that Detox will be released soon. This may be the most anticipated album ever to hit the streets.

"I Need A Doctor" will probably hit the airwaves mastered on February 1st, which is a little over 2 weeks away from now. Eminem and Dre also said they recorded more music together and that it could be released sometime before Christmas 2011. This is very exciting news for hip hop fans that Dre and Eminem are motivated and putting out some new music this year!
