Hip-Hop Icons Eminem and Jay-Z announced a 2-part concert event to be held in each of their hometown's baseball stadiums in Detroit and New York.

The pair announced the concerts earlier tonight in Detroit during the fourth inning of the Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees game at Comerica Park.

The concerts will take place in September at Comerica Park and Yankee Stadium.

Eminem will headline a concert on Thursday, September 2 at Comerica Park while Jay-Z will headline the show at Yankee Stadium on Monday, September 13. The two-night concert event will be produced by Live Nation.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime set of shows and I know we're both really going to bring it to our hometowns," Eminem said in a press release.

The pair collaborated back in 2001 with the popular track "Renegade" and played a show together in June in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of the DJ Hero game.

There is currently no ticket information available for the shows.
