Enough of the background information let's get to the reason why you are probably reading this article to read the exclusive review of the new songs on Relapse Refill. Here is the list of the new tracks plus the performers, writer, and producer of the song plus the order in which the reviews are going to come in courtesy of Wikipedia.org. Now without further ab-due let's start this.
Here is the list of the tracks:
1. "Forever
2. "Hell Breaks Loose
3. "Buffalo Bill
4. "Elevator"
5. "Taking My Ball
6. "Music Box
7. "Drop the Bomb
Out of the seven new tracks listed one of them you have probably heard for sure if you listen to hip hop, rap, or Slim Shady himself (Eminem) it is called Forever an all star track with up and coming Artist Drake, and hip hop veterans Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Slim Shady. The beat of the song is insane, but the lyrics range from amazing to iffy at times depending on whose rapping, the chorus by Drake is amazingly done, but the effort put in by Kanye West, and Lil Wayne are average at best. Drakes chorus, and Eminem's verse is what really saved the song from being completely horrible.
3/5
Hell Breaks Loose:
The second new track on the album may just be the best song on the album re-release or original it's insane the beat produce by Dr. Dre who is feature on the song it's an up-tempo club song or a perfect song to bump in your car the flow the rhythm is insane one of the best Eminem songs in years if you had to pick only one song to buy from this re-release it would have to be Hell Breaks Loose. 5/5\
Buffalo Bill: Classic Eminem song with the beat matching the lyrics written by Eminem.
4/5
Elevator:
Produce by Dr. Dre the song features a sick beat again, and Eminem does what he does best by telling another story on how fame changed his life and his views on it. Some of it has been said before in his earlier songs but the way he puts it together this time is completely different. The song flows better, and it even sounds better. Elevator also has a very catchy chorus that gives a shout out to his best friend Proof who we pray rest in peace.
Overall the song is 4/5
Taking My Ball:
You probably have heard it you have or played DJ Hero. Dr. Dre provides a sick beat for the song and Eminem compliments it with a decent flow he even sings the chorus the chorus in the song and unlike when 50 Cent sings the chorus in his songs, Eminem is actually decent at it. For those who remember Haliey's Song his singing has gotten way better or he had someone edit it better either way it is a win win situation.
Music Ball:
Eminem raps about the holidays and his childhood yet again and has the honor of being the worst song on the album. 1/5
Drop The Bomb:
For any other rapper drop the bomb would have been an amazing song but for someone with the talent and high standards that he set for himself Drop The Bomb is a horrible song for Eminem. Granted the lyrics and beat are already but you can hear the potential the song has and it is sad to see that Eminem did not fulfill it.
2/5
Relapse Refill 4/5 and if it wasn't for Music Ball, and Drop The Bomb it would have easily been 5/5
