Emirates Airline Review

A Review of Emirates Airline and It's Service

Jason Ward
I've been flying with Emirates for quite some years now, and I have to say it is one of my favorite airlines. They have nice planes, comfortable seats, and a delightful crew what is there not to like?

First of all the prices are great for most of their flights and rivals other airlines with special deals, the catch of course is the several hour stopover in Dubai, which I really enjoy as they have an excellent airport, but for some business men it is a little out of their way and not so time efficient.

The fleet is comprised of several different types of planes, my favorite being the 777-300ER which just so happens to be their most advanced and newest model, with a great entertainment system to boot, and plenty of extra seat space.

The crew members are all well mannered and speak quite a few different languages. They are friendly and very helpful, and the service they provide is vast and they treat you with respect and honor.

Meals aboard the planes vary and I have had a bad meal a few times but for the most part they were nice and hearty and I did the job of satisfying my hungry stomach. They also serve drinks throughout the whole flight both alcoholic and non alcoholic, and they have snacks and ice cream as well.

The entertainment system is something to be noted, as I've never seen it on any other airline, they have quite large personal TV's double the size of the standard ones on most airlines, they have over 500 movie channels to pick from so the job is choosing the ones you want to watch, they also have a couple hundred TV show channels with all the popular ones playing. The TV is also equipped with internet access and 100s of music albums as well as some of the coolest in seat games I've ever seen on a plane. My one drawback about their movie system is that they cut most of the R-rated films and make them into PG-13 which really sucks, what I do is just watch the already PG-13 movies as it is a waste of time to see cut movies.

Most Emirate flights have a 2-10 hour layover in Dubai Airport, but there are so many things to do there that you won't get bored, they have some great lounges and restaurants. Dubai does not fly out of that many US airports but does out of the main ones, I would suggest next time you want to fly internationally to check out their prices and take a chance with them, trust me there is no way you are going to be disappointed. Emirates really is an excellent five star airline.

Dubai is fast becoming one of the wealthiest nations in the world and they have been investing heavily into the tourism trade and making all of their assets top notch, you can really see it when you fly Emirates and it makes you thankful to be treated with such class.
