Emmanuel Steward Ready to Keep Freddie Roach's Mouth Shut on November 13, 2010?

New York City, New York - After technically knocking out WBA Superwelterweight Champion Yuri Foreman in round 9 at the Yankie Stadium in New York City last Saturday, Miguel Cotto rather makes it big onward for his new head trainer, Emmanuel Steward.

Cotto's win gives Steward, also an inductee of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, a chance to stage a battle against Manny Pacquiao 's trainer, Freddie Roach, all in their respective opposing corners. The pride between the two trainers will underscore the rematch of Pacquiao and Cotto at 154 pounds.

Conversely, these said two trainers, both professional fighters in their days of youth, are known to render their rhetorics whenever boxing matches are set.

For one thing, Steward, a flip-flop commentator, has been known as one of the most intelligible critics of Pacquiao.
Another, Roach, a soft-spoken Bostonian, has been known as likely to engage in trash-talking.

But, for Stewart, he said he has set in mind a master's plan.

"You just cannot underestimate of what Stewart can do to rebuild Cotto for a rematch with Pacquiao, especially if the fight is staged at 154 pounds," says Martin Lozano, a sportswriter based in New York City. "Roach will have all the reasons to worry, if ever the rematch between Pacquiao and Cotto will take place soon."

"Cotto will become a very dangerous, hungrier lion at that weight class," he adds.

"If Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiation does not materialize, then we are ready to take on Pacquiao this November 13," says the famous HBO boxing commentator. "We'll take on Pacquiao and we will make a sketch of him to fit our game plan."

Even after a one-sided defeat of Cotto last November 14, Steward is hopeful his new protégé, whom he believes has the ability to bouch back and to defeat Pacquiao, still has untapped potential.

While Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiation seems to be on an informal admonition of 'gaq order' for media exposé, both parties according to David Mayo of Grand Rapid Press are not really communicating of their respective terms.

Therefore, there seems to be so much unwarranted presumption which could only drumbeat the journalists and bloggers alike. Even boxing fans inclusive of quasi ones cannot contain but heat up the lackluster of the non-sequitor articles published in different fight fan sites.

Cotto should first beat Martinez and if he wins he is ready to challenge Pacquiao again.

Dear Mr Steward, if Foreman didn't slipped there no way Cotto would win the fight. All the people watch the fight see Foreman winning the fight cause Cotto can't hit the target. So u better shut your mouth...

I think Cotto has a chance if ever they will have a rematch. The question is, how big is his chance, may be slim.

be sure Steward, Coz if Cotto Fights Manny, Cotto will be retiring soon. Manny retires great fighters. I don't want it to happen to Cotto. Cotto can still re shape his carreer, but think twice if you will asked Manny to fight. Steward just do the talking, but I think Cotto dont want to fight Pacman. He can fight Margarito and he has a change. Manny Shut up cotto all rounds of theirFight. It's a humiliating loss than Margarito. At least when he fight margarito, He wins the early rounds. But manny knock him out so early. So think Twice

i think stewarts just fishing for a big payday with a pacquiao fight, and wants to steal the spotlight from roach, with roach getting all the accolades right now, cotto's finished, he looked weak he was loosing the fight until the injury, you can see on cotto's face, he wasnt happy, foreman was a brave fighter though.

COTTO JUST GET LUCKY WHEN FOREMAN SLIPS IN THE CANVASS.NOT A GOOD FIGHT.IT'S THE SAME COTTO (JUST GET BIG AND HEAVY )IF EVER HE GETS A REMATCH WITH PACQUIAO.

Wow! Mr. Stewart, I have so much respect for you my man, please don't get over excited and trying to take on the PACMAN next. Cotto fought a partially disabled Foreman. Sure don't want to see another whipp'n from PACMAN. At 154, the PACMAN will still destroy your man. Maybe, a rematch with the non-concrete fist Margarito first. If Cotto beats Margarito, he really deserve a rematch with PACMAN. You try to kill your fighter my man, step at a time.
