Entourage Enters Its Final Season

Stacey Doyle

As Entourage enters its final season on HBO, everyone is wondering what will happen next. Emmanuelle Chriqui is one of the bright stars to emerge from Entourage's cast. On Saturday night, the media and New York elite attended a Hamptons magazine cover party with Emmanuelle Chriqui at South Pointe Nightclub in Southampton, presented by Baume and Mercier.

Clad in a sensational reddish orange evening gown, Emmanuelle Chriqui heated up an already steamy evening in the Hamptons. Her gracious demeanor and flawless appearance had everyone clamoring to get closer to her beauty. Also in attendance were Entourage creator/writer Doug Ellin and his wife, Melissa Hecht.

Emmanuelle Chriqui plays Sloan McQuewick, Kevin Connolly's love interest on Entourage. Chriqui is the feminine presence in a masculine crew, much like "Big" was the manly force among women on Sex and the City. Also an HBO success story, Sex and the City continued on the big screen. There is serious talk about the possibility of an Entourage movie after the season ends.

Chriqui's Hamptons magazine cover party was held at South Pointe Nightclub, one of the hottest spots on Long Island's east end. In attendance from Hamptons magazine were Jason Binn, Chairman, Niche Media, Debra Halpert, publisher and Samantha Yanks, editor-in-chief.

Guests danced to the beats of world renowned DJ Flexican of Steel Artist Management while sipping Tequila Avion, Kim Crawford wine and Heineken. There was also a preview of Baume & Mercier's new watches inspired by seaside living.

Chriqui arrived to a gaggle of fans, media and music. She smiled and laughed as she posed for photos alone and with friends. Her lovely face graced Hamptons magazines, placed strategically throughout the nightclub. She also graciously spoke to me about the last season of Entourage and her other plans.

Chriqui's acting career started to pick up when she was about 16 years old, playing bit parts in her native Canada. One of her big breaks was a McDonald's commercial. She originally auditioned for three episodes on Entourage, which turned into a six year career. Chriqui said, "It's amazing to be part of something so successful. I'm looking forward to whatever comes next."

While Chriqui could not discuss all her future plans, she indicated there were "lots of irons on the fire." She added she was "moving onwards and upwards...that's the goal."

Chriqui is the voice of Cheetara in the Thundercats animated series. She also plays Sancia on Showtime's 2011 series The Borgias. In the past, Chriqui played Adam Sandler's Palestinian love interest in the movie You Don't Mess with the Zohan. She performed with Beyonce Knowles in the film Cadillac Records, playing the role of Revett Chase. Chriqui also topped the AskMen.com "Most Desirable Women of 2010" list.

The bittersweet end of Entourage was an inevitable topic, with the show premiering the next day. Chriqui commented about the short season, stating, ""There's eight, but they're eight strong. It's really a strong season." She admitted the final days were sad, but she was clearly hopeful about the days ahead.

While Entourage might be coming to an end, Chriqui's career is as red-hot as her gown. She was pleased with her cover shoot for Hamptons magazine and said it was a "great magazine." Chriqui also gushed, "I am really happy. You don't generally hear yourself saying you're happy with a cover."

Besides being a darling in the tony Hamptons, Chriqui is also involved in giving back through charitable efforts. Chriqui joined the Celebrities Give Back program at JewelMint. She chose the Mumbai bracelet to support her charity RAISE Hope for Congo. The organization protects Congolese women against sexual violence.

Fans can rest easy, knowing they are sure to see more Emmanuelle Chriqui after the end of Entourage. With a potential movie in the making, fans will be able to catch up with Sloan, Vince, Eric, Ari, Turtle and Drama in the future.
