Emmy Awards and List of 62nd Annual Emmys Winners (Slideshow Link)

The 62nd annual Emmy Awards show last night produced several surprises and snubs, and much like the developing and unofficial list of the Dancing With The Stars cast, it was simply unpredictable. Also unexpected was the incredible opening act with Jimmy Fallon, who with Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Tina Fey and others put together a "Glee" sketch that was irresistible to watch and set the tone for an awesome Emmys Show.

Fallon and crew performed Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" and even with Kate Gosselin worked into the act, one still was not offended, especially as Jimmy and Tina admitted the reality star just cannot dance.

As with every Emmy Awards Show, there were some snubs which almost felt objectionable, including the lack of interest (awards) to True Blood, Lost and Friday Night Lights.

Glee had 19 nominations but walked away with only two awards (Jane Lynch as Best Supporting Actress and Ryan Murphy for Outstanding Direction).

Also disappointing was the fact that Conan O'Brien didn't get his moment on stage as "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" took home its seventh consecutive Emmy for variety, music or comedy series. Lots of people wanted O'Brien to take the Emmy and watch NBC squirm just a tad.....oh, what would've Conan said had he won?

Modern Family took the coveted Best Comedy, Best Supporting Actor (Eric Stonestreet who is sending his Emmy home with his Mother), and Best Writing, considered quite a feat for a show in its first year.
