Emmy Winners 2010: Were There Any Surprises with This Years' Emmy Nominations and Results?

Brian Gorman
Well the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards show aired last night and it seemed to me as if the Emmy winners this year held no major surprises for anyone. Television actors and actresses had their biggest awards show of the year and although, as I said before, there are many nominations and category wins that were about as predictable as a sunrise, there was a pleasant sprinkling of newcomers and rising TV stars who won awards. Notables to me was the made for TV moive 'Temple Grandin,' which I was able to watch when it first aired earlier this year on HBO, and the actress to portrayed Temple Grandin; Claire Danes. Danes' performance as an autistic child turned cattle world genius was extraordinary and worthy of the awards she received. Be sure to watch this actresse in years to come.
