Encouraging Teen Girls to Be Faithful Christians

2 Examples of Encouraging Letters

Jared Moore
When I was in youth ministry, I would write letters encouraging the youth to persevere with Christ. Here are two examples of letters that I wrote.

[Girl's Name],

Hey girl. How's life treating you today? God has been awesome to me today. I just wanted to write you and let you know that I prayed for you today. I prayed that God would show His glory to you in a way that you've never seen, and that He would help you to live your life for Him daily. As each day goes by, may you always know that King Jesus is the only One worth living for. If He is who He says He is, then does He not deserve every ounce of you? As you wake up every morning, may you only delight in God, thus making everything else meaningless to you. I love you and if you ever need anything, my door is always open. Be good.

[Girl's Name],

Howdy. Did you have a good time at [previous youth event she attended]? I had a good time. It was a good trip. I just wanted to write you again to let you know that I prayed for you today. I prayed that God would bring you into a relationship with Jesus and that you would seek only to please Him. Who do you live your life for today? When you look in the mirror do you see someone who is living for Jesus or someone who is living for their self? My prayer is that you would be so in love with Jesus that nothing else really matters to you. I pray that you would only seek to live a life that is pleasing to Him. As you continue to grow older, may you only live for the One who has given you life. I love you in Christ, and if you ever need anything, please contact me. Be good.
