End of the Garden Zucchini Bars

1 c. flour
1/4 c. butter - softened
1 egg
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. shredded zucchini (drain any juice off of the zucchini before mixing it in the batter)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts (your choice)

(If you double the recipe it will fit a 9 x 13 inch cake pan)

Mix together brown sugar, butter, vanilla and egg. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Now add zucchini and nuts. Pour and spread into a 9 or 8 inch square pan (double the recipe and put into a 9 x 13 inch cake pan).

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely for about 1 hour.

Frosting

3/4cup powdered sugar
1tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
1/8teaspoon ground cloves
3to 4 teaspoons milk

In medium bowl, mix all frosting ingredients until smooth and spreadable. Spread frosting over bars.

Keep in refrigerator
