End Times

This morning when I woke up I hear the news that the town where my mom lives a big crater just formed, suddenly swallowing part of the town. No one was hurt, but people are scared to sleep because they do not know what is next.

Last night I was watching on Sid Roth's show and interview with John Paul Jackson, a very humble man that has predicted a lot of these things happening and he says things will get worse in 2011. I am not sure about you, but I do not want worse. Yet, in the middle of that , he says, the children of God will be preserved. God will take care of us. We just need to trust Him.

Trust? One of the things we struggle with after we have been disappointed way too much. I honestly believe that in Christ we have everything, but our faith will materialize what is in Heaven for us, but we have such little faith. I remember the story when the disciples could not heal a person and they asked Jesus why couldn't they? He said that it was because of their little faith. And then He said that if they had had faith as small as a mustard seed...then things would have changed. Do you know what that means?That they did not even have that! And that is small. I am ashamed to tell you that so many times I do not trust God. See, we say we do, but then we act like we do not. I am on a journey to get to know Him better in order to trust Him. I believe our lack of trust comes from not really knowing Him and His ways.

If you are like me and struggly with unbelief, may I remind you to stop being hard on yourself and focus on knowing Jesus. Faith will naturally come when one knows the person they are supposed to trust. And how do we get to know Him? By reading about Him and practicing what we believe. faith comes by hearing and hearing by His Word ( Romans 10:17).

But actions are just as vital. Actions are the testing out of what we believe. Actions lead to mroe faith because we will see God manifesting His Word. Please get this. God doesn't lie. Something is wrong on our end and we need to renew our minds and believe.

I also believe sometimes we think we believe when in actuality we do not. It is not the same thing to really trust and THINK we do and then we do not. In Hebrews 4:2 it says that the Word of God did not profit some with anything because it found NO FAITH! Did you hear that? God says that His Word will not profit you if you do not believe. The Word of God plus faith is like a big BOMB. WOW! But it will not be that if the Word of God finds no faith.

During these terrible times with earthquakes here and there, famine, cholera, governmental issues, etc. it is time we really trusted. We need to cling to our God. Too sad that only then we do and even more sad that some will not even now. We are like the people int he times of Noah. We ignore the warnings, we do not prepare, and we even laugh at those who do.

We need to get busy and reach people! Jesus is coming! I cannot wait!
