The end of hte world is coming sooner or later, but it can't be long from now when we start polluting whole oceans in our greedy quest for cheap energy. But one thing I do not understand about dooms day sooth sayers is why they stock up on canned food when they have come up with specific dates. If it's the end of the world, what are you going to need food for? I believe in the second coming of Christ, but when it is going to happen is a mystery. Jesus said so Himself and that even He doesn't know, only the FAther.

Great article. Of course we don't know when and if it's coming, but science has shown that the earth has changed axis before, our climate has changed a number of times, and also there are constant battles on the surface causing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Add to this the posibility that a meteor of significant size could strike the earth or pass close by it, and the writing is on the wall - our existance on this planet is only for a matter of time. Hopefully this is millions of years, but maybe that's what the dionosaurs said as well...

Wow , I especially liked the very intelligent thought, of What is the end of the world for you personally. I know that in the Bible it says that only God knows the day and time that the world will come to an end. So if he set a previous date, and we all know it, he will change it!
