Endangered Species Chocolates are tasty, gourmet, all-natural and organic chocolates that are ethically traded and grown on small family farms. Each piece of chocolate is wrapped in a beautiful, brightly colored wrapper that has a picture of threatened or endangered species on it to bring awareness about the continually growing problems these species must face. In addition, 10% of all net profits go to supporting species, habitat, and humanity.
What Does Endangered Species Chocolate Taste Like?
Endangered Species Chocolates are some of my very favorite chocolates. The dark chocolates in particular are really rich tasting and have the perfect amount of sweetness. None of the chocolates have that waxy taste that lower quality chocolates have. The milk chocolates are perfectly creamy and melt in your mouth. There are a variety of flavors, each of them delicious, but I really loved the dark chocolate with cranberries and almonds. I definitely recommend trying that flavor immediately.
Buying Endangered Species Chocolate
Endangered Species Chocolates are available online at www.chocolatebar.com and in many health food stores and grocery stores, including Whole Foods and Stop & Shop. Online, a 3 ounce chocolate bar costs $2.79. The chocolate are available in tons of different sizes and flavors, and you can even get Endangered Species chocolate wedding favors. You can also "adopt an animal" for $30, $45, or $75. This is a great gift for a chocolate lover and animal lover, because you get a plush toy animal in the shape of whatever animal you adopted, a one-year e-membership to the African Wildlife Foundation, and a basket of Endangered Species chocolates. You can adopt an elephant, mountain gorilla, lion, zebra, giraffe, rhino, wild dog, or warthog. The stuffed giraffe is particularly cute and would make a great gift for a child or an adult.
The Verdict On Endangered Species Chocolate
I recommend Endangered Species Chocolates for all chocolate connoisseurs and anyone who cares about animals. On their own merits, these chocolates are incredibly delicious. The fact that buying them can help save an endangered species is a wonderful side effect.
