Endless Learning

Donna Cavanagh
Every day brings a series of new lessons
We get one down and another comes along
There are always answers we need to seek out
But every lesson learned helps us grow strong

From the moment we awake each morning
We are faced with new lessons for the day ahead
We can look at them as challenges in our way
Or adventures waiting to greet us instead

If we had all the answers from the day we were born
And there were no lessons that needed to be learned
There would be no reason to blaze new trails
No convictions to fight for; no achievements to be earned

Life's lessons are not always easy
In fact, at times they cause us great pain
But in the end, we understand their value
And comprehend the wisdom that they always contain
