1) Any type of technology that makes it easier to listen to music on the go. I started off as strictly an R&B lover, but ever since 1994 when I was a 12 year old kid, I've become a huge music lover and have fallen in love with multiple types of music over the last 1 and 1/2 decades. When the iPod came out, I would have been all over it as a celebrity endorser if given the chance. Hardly a day goes by without me plugging up the iPod, and you can count on my willingness to listen to anything outside of most rap and country music.
2) Weight Watchers. Before joining Weight Watchers, I was a member of Jenny Craig and even a local weight loss center that falsely advertised that their program allowed you the option of eating fast food and still losing weight (the only thing I could eat was a BK broiler without the mayonnaise).
I've been a member of Weight Watchers twice and I love their philosophy about "changing your lifestyle, not going on a diet." The first time I lost about 20 pounds, and since I joined up again September 2007 I've lost over 56 pounds. The biggest difference the 2nd time is that I lost the weight because I truly was ready to make a change, not because family members were begging me to do something about my weight. I appreciate a plan that doesn't falsely advertise the fact that you can eat whatever you want, just do it in moderation. So if Weight Watchers were to give me a call, I'd gladly be their Kirstey Alley-type spokeswoman.
3) Blimpie. Sorry Michael, but I've always loved them way more than Subway. I prefer their bread and the way they cut their sandwiches. Whenever I think of quality deli sandwiches (or have a hankering for one), they're the first company that comes to my mind.
4) Similar to music fetish, any technology that makes it easier for me to read multiple books on the go is a winner in my book, like the new Kindle from Amazon. Now, when it comes down to it, there's nothing like a good old fashioned physical book where I can curl up on the couch and turn the pages. But sometimes I really do like taking reading material along at the doctor's office where carrying around a book or two can be a bit of a pain. I like to be as hands-free as possible while running errands.
5) Honda cars. I've owned my Honda Accord since the summer of 2004. It had some of the best mileage per gallon at the time, and it hasn't caused me any major problems in the 4 1/2 years I've had it.
So now you know my hypothetical celebrity endorsement deals. But if you had endorsement offers coming your way, what would you choose?
