Jan Kentala Photography- This is another Burnsville photographer. I like local photographers a lot more than the chains because the work tends to be higher quality and more creative. What's great about this studio is that they have two studios, and one of those is an indoor/outdoor studio. Meaning you don't have to look too hard to find a nice location to take your photos. Advantage Photography- What I like about this place is they are very specific with what they do. What they shoot is divided up into sections that can be easily understood, and they have samples. Whatever you are looking for, they have a sample right at your fingertips. I think this is something that photographers don't often do, and they should. Their photographer is a Minnesota native with over 15 years experience, so it's not just someone that does it on weekends. What I don't like about their website is the lack of pricing. You have to call to get it, and this can sometimes be a hassle. However, their work speaks for itself.
