Here is how you do it:
Open up a browser and go to: http://www.google.com/translate
This will bring up a place where you can translate one word or several. There are also several other websites where you can do spanish translations. I have listed them in this article. After you bring up the google translate page, now paste a word or set of words or insert a url (website link). Then choose from the first drop down menu the language the text is in that you wish to translate. In the second drop down box, choose the language you wish to translate the text into.
Now, hit the translate button. Presto! To the right of the box you inputed the text in, you will see the translated text. If you translated English to Spanish, you will now be able to copy the spanish translation into your email or computer program. Simply highlight the text using Ctrl+C and then paste your text in any other program you want to use it in (using Ctrl + V).
This translation tool on Google is a great resource for anyone that needs to convert any language to any other language. Do you have a suggestion for a better translation of the word? After you translate the word, a link that says "Suggest a better translation" will appear in the lower right hand corner. Simply click on this link and you can recommend a better translation.
Other places you can translate words from english into spanish are:
http://babelfish.yahoo.com/
and
http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=EN
By using several tools available on the internet, you will be able to get a more accurate spanish translation for your english words.
Good Luck & Happy Translating!
