It involves only what is in the package, water and something to cook it with. Just wait it is different. Try it what do you have to loose it could be just a bit of variety in your diet.
Put enough water in a pot to cover the Raman noodles. More water then that will just make the meal take longer, because it takes the water a longer time to boil. Heat the water so it is boiling, or at least get it so that it is close to boiling. Then stick in the Raman noodles. Do not stick in the powdery chicken seasoning yet. That part comes later. I repeat do not, stick in the powdery seasoning, no mater if it is chicken or beef or shrimp or whatever. A warning though, I have only tried it with the chicken kind, not any of the others.
When the noodles are done, you should be able to separate them with a fork. Use a fork you plan to eat it with to save on dishes. Drain off the water, just like you were making macaroni and cheese. Then put in the powdery chicken stock, or whatever it is you have, and stir it. Be careful if it is your first time making it this way.
The straight powder in the noodles might be to powerful for your taste buds. So simply do not add the whole thing. Test it with a small amount of the powder then add to that bit by bit until you find the right level of flavor for you.
I have actually eaten this when I did not have to. That's right even though dorm life makes you eat Raman noodles, because the cafeteria food is worse. I would choose it over eggs and oatmeal any day. My mom and my brother think I am crazy because I eat it. But they have yet to try it my way. And there you have it a simple change in proportion can make a horrible meal due to repetition seem like a decent one.
