Enjoy 4 Seasons of Fun at the M & M Ranch and Outfitters in Sparta, WI
So Much to Do, the Fun Never Ends!
The M & M Ranch is an old western style farm. Their mission is to provide some good old fashioned fun to people living in the modern world. You will find attractions that were once part of normal everyday life in the Midwest. Covered wagons pulled by draft horses, log cabins, hay rides, sleigh rides, western home-cooked meals, and even ranch critters!
The Ranch is located just outside of Sparta, WI. The Ranch is on the south side of I-90 along Jackpot Ave. To get to the M & M Ranch and Outfitter, take exit number 25 off I-90 in Sparta. Head south of highway 27 a little over one mile. Turn right (east) onto Jackpot Ave. Continue on Jackpot Ave. for about 3 ½ miles. The ranch will be on the north side of the road!
Some of the summer highlights include horseback riding, overnight horse packing trips, canoeing, berry picking, paintball, a covered flower and butterfly garden, fishing, biking, gospel sings, equine clinics, campfires with smores, packing guides, outfitting school classes, and so much more. The ranch staff are there to serve and will assure you have a pleasant visit no matter what.
Fall brings even more fun activities to the ranch. Everyone's favorite fall activities include the pumpkin patch with horse-drawn hayride and the corn maze! Combine the two events for a fun filled day. You can enjoy the beautiful fall foliage colors of the beautiful Wisconsin bluffs and rolling hills as you visit the ranch.
In winter the ranch is still in operation. You can rent cross country skis or snowshoes for a winter hike. There are several ponds you can ice skate on if you wish. One of the winter highlights at the ranch is the Percheron Team Driven Bobsleigh! Glide over the snow as these beautiful horses take you for a beautiful ride through the glistening, snow covered countryside!
Spring of course is a busy time at the ranch! Baby animals are being born, planting is in full swing and the flowers are growing. Bring your family for a day event and enjoy all the amenities offered!
The Ranch also has an in-house auction house. Visit one of the many scheduled auctions to find some goods. Hay, tack, critter, equine and farm auctions are held throughout the year. The website will list all the auctions, their dates and times. http://www.mmranchfun.com/id6.html
Another specialty at the M & M Ranch and Outfitters in Sparta, WI is the Trail End's Café! This café serves some of the most delicious food from the olden days! Campfires are completed with hot cocoa and marshmallows. You can even take a trail ride, and then end the ride with a campfire and hot dog roast. The wood and picnic tables are waiting for you!
If you are ever in the Sparta, La Crosse or Tomah, WI areas, you need to check out this ranch! The old style town and ranch will have you reminiscing about the years past!
