Enjoy an IllumiNations Specialty Cruise at Walt Disney World

After spending a long day walking around Epcot at Walt Disney World, sitting down and watching the fireworks always makes the perfect end to a long, yet enjoyable day. Did you know that there is a way to avoid having to find a seat two hours prior to show time? Or better yet, did you know that you can avoid waiting in the long line just to leave the park?

To do so you will need to call exactly 180 days prior to the date you desire to enjoy your specialty cruise, starting at 7 a.m. eastern time. Hint: Because the cruises fill up fast, try calling a few days before so you are familiar with the menu options. This will make you phone call go faster and better your chances of getting a cruise. Many days the specialty cruises sell out within the first five minutes after phone lines open.

During your cruise, your driver will escort you from Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and take you on a slow cruise on the waters of Crescent Lake. Many drivers are full of knowledge of the area and Disney in general. So do not be afraid to ask questions. Part of the cruise includes a slow ride around the Disney's Hollywood Studios Lake, where you will get an awesome view of Twilight Zone's Hollywood Tower of Terror, glowing in the night. You will also be able to see the Sorcerer's Hat from Fantasia.

Before heading into Epcot's World Showcase Lagoon, the cruise will continue it's slow ride along Disney's BoardWalk Resort. All of the boats will then dock underneath the bridge at the International Gateway between the United Kingdom an France pavilions.
