Enjoy the Luxurious Spa on Yachts of Seabourn's Odyssey

Brand New Vessel, Brand New Spa

Karen Reams
There is nothing like a luxury high end cruise for being pampered. Yachts of Seabourn already provides excellent spa treatments that range from aromatherapy to Chinese Reflexology on its current vessels, Pride, Spirit, and Legend. But from June 2009 Yachts of Seabourn will be launching a new vessel, Odyssey, whose spa will boast a pampering 11,400sq ft which is quite a jump from the usual 2,378 sq ft.

Yachts of Seabourn came to realize by polling their guests that a spa on board is extremely important to its clients so its new vessel, Odyssey, will sport a 2-deck spa. Considering that there will be only 450 guests on board this is indeed generous.

On deck 10 guests will find a pair of sumptuous spa villas that can be booked for half days along with a variety of treatments. These villas are really luxurious and provide a treatment space for two and an over sized bathtub for two. Whilst staying in these villas you can enjoy a private wrap a round balcony for relaxing in the sun and you will also have living and dining areas.

Deck 9 has seven treatment rooms one of which is the Garden Villa Room. The Garden Villa Room has a tub on the balcony, beds for partner massages and a "dry-float" room with a heated waterbed. Again super luxurious.

Also deck 9 of Odyssey of Yachts of Seabourn offers an outdoor space with a hydro pool, relaxation room with heated loungers and herbal/steam rooms. There can also be found a full-service salon, which offers a fitness room, a studio for classes, a Kinesis Wall and an area for Thai massages.

Anybody can work out a customized workout plan with the staff of experienced personal trainers that Seabourn has recruited.

Odyssey will make her maiden voyage on June 24, 2009 with a 14- day cruise that starts from Venice, Italy to Istanbul, Turkey. Fares for this trip start at $16,006. Not to despair though there are some cruises on Odyssey that start at $3,449 such as a 7-day cruise that leaves from Athens, Greece sailing to Venice Italy on July 25, 2009.

So if you are considering a luxury cruise perhaps you should consider pampering yourself on Yachts of Seabourn Odyssey. If you have a partner who wouldn't usually use the spa facilities on a cruise this could be the time to treat them to a spa treatment gift.
