LCD TVS are like mirrors - they reflect light that comes from certain angles. Unless the strong source of light comes from a specific spot, LCDs will not reflect light and glare it back at you.
You can never find a cathode ray tube in an LCD TV. Cathode Ray Tube (or CRT) is a part of a TV that primarily throws out electrons at a certain speed on the surface of traditional TV. They hit at the glowing surface, making a pixelated effect on the screen. It is placed at the back of the curved screen of the television.
LCD TVs, on the other hand, uses a diverse method. LCD TVs dart light from polarizing filters and thin layer of fluid crystals in between, creating finer and crisp images. This mechanism also requires LCD TVs to be slimmer, making the appliance very efficient when it comes to space.
Though it cannot be argued that LCD TVs are far more expensive than the traditional ones, consumers can still save on power. LCDS are in fact more energy efficient than the traditional ones, with savings showing up on their energy bills.
The undeniable benefit of an LCD TV is the clearer resolution. With LCD TVs, you are able to enjoy clearer pictures and videos, something you can't experience with a traditional TV. While it can be experienced watching TV programs, it is best when you're watching DVD movies, when it is at its finest resolution.
Clearly, LCD TV is one of the finest innovations in the entertainment and electronic department and it can be enjoyed by everyone.
