Sitting back
cogitating
my chronicles
with love
how did I
allow
infiltration
within the walls
of my heart
seepage
in my mind
voices inside
yelling
STOP!
DANGER!
EXIT QUICK!
and yet
I proceed ahead
throwing caution to the wind
only to have
myself denied
love
respect
I am a
human being
to
give, give, give
only to have it
not reciprocated
duplicated]
until the person
within screems
Enough Girl Enough!
I walk away
stronger
wiser
yet still
leaving my heart
open
for love to
come in
