Enough is Enough in the Dina Matos McGreevey Story

Dina Matos McGreevey, the former New Jersey gay Governor's ex-wife, is up in arms today over allegations that a former aide named Ted Pedersen was involved with three-way sex acts with Dina and her hubby Jim for two-years prior to his Governorship position. Ted Pedersen is claiming to be coming forward to confirm the claims after being shocked that Dina would rebuff them, according to a keyetv.com news report.

Dina has given an interview to ABC News, to which she indicates that Ted owes her ex-husband favors, and that she suspects that he is making these claims as a way to discredit her book about the relationship publicly because the ex-husband can not stand it when she receives more attention than he does. Ted is now calling Dina a hypocrite for her feelings about the Spritzer situation with a prostitute in the news lately.

Enough already! This sounds like a bunch of young teens bickering over who has the best styles on for the dance.

I personally don't care about who is doing it when, with whom, or why when it comes to these politicians. Dina claims in her book that she was upset by her fiancé asking his good-looking driver to take them somewhere, and then later makes claims that she didn't know that he was gay or bisexual prior to marrying him.

In my opinion, if she was worried about a good-looking male driver being around her fiancé prior to marriage, there must have been a reason. Perhaps, Dina isn't as innocent as she would like to portray herself to the media. But, the bottom line is, who cares? What these people do behind closed doors has nothing to do with how they manage the jobs that we elect them to.

We've seen a rash of politicians raked over the coals based upon their sexual orientations, despite what personal arrangements they've had with family or friends while the actual acts were going on. Everybody who hits the media with these types of allegations ends up getting more publicity than they've bargained for.

The prostitute from the Spritzer case is busy today making financial deals to benefit through her wrong doings with a person-of-power. Perhaps Dina is no different. As long as she is refuting the claims of an open sexuality situation in her prior marriage, she is benefiting sales of her book. She stands to make cash.

If it's true that Dina is upset over the Spritzer case where a married man was caught having sex with a prostitute, then she is a hypocrite; but, not if this is all just a planned media scuffle to promote revenue after previous bad publicity. I suspect that Dina was completely aware of her husband's abnormalities around the bedroom before, during, and after her marriage. I believe that today's media fluff is designed to fatten the purse.

In this country, negative publicity can be just as nice as positive publicity when it comes to promoting a political career. This is the year 2008; it is not like everybody hasn't heard of an alternative life-style choice before. Dina's ex-husband is to be commended in many ways for being honest about his activities. I believe that Dina is making a mistake if she is not telling the truth as a way to get our sympathy's. It is not working for me.
