From the start of this race between Senator Hillary Clinton,Senator Barack Obama and now Senator John McCain as the Republicans front-runner. I have stood behind Senator Clinton. Mind you Senator Obama is also a excellent choice for President. And if Senator McCain is put into office I am sure he will also do far better than our current embattled leader, George Bush Jr. I remember calling the Neil Bortz show a couple of years ago. He and Rush Limbaugh had a field day of making fun of Senator Clinton. And the nasty "buzz-phrase" they kept using was that the nomination for President was hers to lose. That always infuriated me. So recently when I called him as he has done an about face, I told him that he and Rush aren't laughing anymore. Because there is a real possibility that our next President could be Senator Hillary Clinton. So what will Neil do? Secede from the Union? It would be like him to do that with his Southern reactionary mentality. And as far as his "flat-tax" we will be more successful getting a person on Mars before Bortz will see any head-way on his so-called "flat-tax" agenda. I will even go one step further. Neil "Whiner" Bortz Georgia will have alcohol sales on Sunday before your flat tax will be approved. But I digress this is a piece about the election of our next President. April 22nd will be the almost last hurdle before the American public and the world sees who will be John McCain's rival. I hope it will be Hillary Clinton. In my travels both stateside and abroad I have seen many wonderful examples of women that have been in the supreme seat of power and the nations and states were that much better for it. When I lived in England in the early eighties I saw the leadership of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, prior to that when I lived in Washington State our Governor was Dixie Lee Ray in the Philippines we had Corazon Aquino in Pakistan we saw Benazar Bhutto before she was assassinated. The time is now for the United States to make that important decision? Will we maintain a status quo or will we break the mold and make history?
