The Dallas area has a great network of community colleges that people can attend. All of the following colleges are apart of the Dallas County Community College District. This means that pricing is consistent throughout the seven campuses, $41 per credit hour, or as little as $615 for a semester's tuition depending on the program. Each campus offers financial aid assistance for federal grants and loans. If you're a graduate from high school looking to further your career aspirations, or a post graduate wanting to continue your education, the following colleges will have a program that will benefit your personal growth.

Brookhaven Community College

If you're searching for a community college in the Farmers Branch, Carrollton or Addison areas, Brookhaven College offers a plethora of programs for your educational needs. Brookhaven offers courses in business, computers/technology, health professions, child development and teaching certifications. They offer on campus, distance learning, and web-based classes. For more information on financial aid, Brookhaven has a helpful Financial Aid office which offers FAFSA Help Sessions and information on grants such as the Academic Competitiveness Grant and the Gallagher's Army - Educational Assistance Fund.

El Centro Community College is made up of two campuses: one in Downtown Dallas and the Bill Priest Campus located in South Dallas. If you're located in the central part of Dallas, you can take advantage of El Centro College's wide offerings. Richland College, the largest campus of the Dallas County Community College District, located in North Dallas offers a wide variety of classes for future students.
