Concert in memory of Michael Jackson to take place later this month

Approximately 65,000 people are expected to show for concert, which will honor the late Michael Jackson. The concert, scheduled for September 26 and will take place at the Schoenbrunn castle in Vienna. Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael, is organizing the affair, but has kept quiet about which stars will perform. Michael Jackson fans may be sorely disappointed as superstar acts like Mary J. Blige, who were thought to be performing, will not be in attendance. Tickets cost fans up to $745 per ticket.

Amber Tamblyn's mom supports her relationship with David Cross

Amber Tamblyn's mother shut down rumors that she disapproved of her 26-year-old daughter's relationship with 46-year-old actor/comedian David Cross. Amber Tamblyn, star of "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", recently released her second book of poetry, "Bang Ditto". At Tamblyn's book party, her mother had only kind things to say about Cross and his relationship with her daughter. David Cross recently starred in this summer's "Year One" movie and authored the book, "I Drink for a Reason".

Taylor Swift re-releases top selling "Fearless" in CD/DVD combo

October 27, Taylor Swift (age 19) will re-release her most recent country-pop album "Fearless", which has sold nearly 4 million copies. The new album will include six new songs, images, videos, and more.

Natalie Cole returns to stage after kidney transplant

Wednesday night, singer Natalie Cole performed at a Los Angeles concert. This is Cole's first performance since she underwent a kidney transplant.

Ellen DeGeneres is the new Idol judge

After Paula Abdul left American Idol, fans of the show were left to wonder which star would fill her spot. Fox Television has brought funny-gal Ellen DeGeneres on board as a permanent judge on the show. Fans of the show are uncertain of the network's judge choice to bring have a comedian instead of a music professional sit in the judge's chair. Many fans are in favor of the new addition, while others are confused or disappointed by the network's decision.

Richie and Madden welcome baby boy

Early Wednesday, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed their baby boy, Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Sparrow, the couples second child will be baby brother to one-year-old Harlow who will be two-years-old come January.
