Entertainment Review "The Wiggles Live"

Tammy White
The Wiggles is a children's entertainment group originating from Australia. It consists of four singing and dancing members named Murray, Anthony, Sam and Jeff. They have been called "the world's biggest preschool band" and are known for their movies and toys. If you are considering buying tickets for The Wiggles Live read below for great information.

Target Audience:

Children from babies to approximately seven years old will find this show amusing. The Wiggles add costumes and humor to all of their songs and know how to make children laugh. If your child has never heard of the Wiggles this show isn't worth your money. If they can sing along with the songs and know a few of their jokes then your child will have a great time.

The Show:

The show lasted approximately an hour and a half and started a little late. The tickets cost our family $100 for the four of us to attend. The Wiggles are still very spry for their age and were able to energize the crowd. They used professional dancers, not the kids from their movies, as well as some interesting props. There was a blow up castle and big giant fruit that was used for the song "Fruit Salad". For the song "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" there was special lighting effects. The sound quality was good as well as the volume. Visibility was good from the seats. The Wiggles sang a variety of songs from their movies as well as some nursery rhymes.

Tips:

Don't bring bones for Wags or flowers for Dorothy unless you have a floor seat. The dancers came around to collect all the gifts but did not get past the main floor. Check out the arena in advance so you know the good seats and make sure to buy tickets early. Popcorn and drinks work well to keep your kids seated. Don't lose sight of your children in the crowds!

Rating:

I would give The Wiggles Live a rating of 5/5. I was satisfied with the show. My kids were excited to see the real Wiggles and the performance was entertaining.

Seems to me I saw them on some comedy show once. Not sure what. I am sure the kids would love to see their show.

I have never heard of the 'Wiggles'

I had assumed you were in England.

I am guessing you are closer than I thought - in Ontario.

My son used to watch this show all the time. He's 7 now so he's not into that. My three year old doesn't really watch it either. They are more into SpongeBob and the Superhero's. I always wanted to take him to a show when he was little though. Great Article.

I heard of this show but never heard of the Wiggles before...
Might have to google them to find out more about them.
It sounds like you all had a blast!

Wow! I don't do Wiggles! You're a better mom than I am! I'm sure the live show is better than the TV show!

Good review! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old who would love to see The Wiggles! Maybe if I can make a little more money on AC we can afford to go one day, lol. :)
