As a single woman, I often opt to eat fast food or pre-packaged meals. When you are just cooking for yourself, it is often difficult to feel motivated to plan a menu, buy the ingredients, chop and prepare the food, cook it, and then have to clean up a messy kitchen. It's not just singles that feel this way either. In this fast-paced world, we are all looking for ways to save time. Visiting Entrees4u is a great option for making easy dinners.

Recently, I attended an event for singles where we could visit Entrees4u and make from 1-14 easy dinners. It was a great way to mingle and prepare some entrees I could take home for easy cooking. Before the event, I was given a website and password. I looked through the selections and chose two easy dinners to make: the Ratatouille Pasta Bake and Tropical Chicken. The website was easy to use. There was also an option to order some pre-prepared appetizers, desserts, sides or salads. Prices were from $22.99-$30.99 for a family size (serves 4-6) and $12.49-$16.59 for regular size (serves 2-3).

When we arrived, I found an open, cheerful room. On one side of the room there was a bar with soft drinks, ice, and appetizers. Party-goers could sit on barstools and socialize while they ate the appetizers. The selections were a spicy taco dip with chips, pita chips with a spinach dip, apricot meatballs, and toffee brownie bites. The meatballs and brownie bites were especially delicious.

On the other half of the room, I found cooking stations where the attendees could arrange their food selections. After the owner found my order page, she had me don an apron and wash my hands. I went to the stations to make my easy dinner selections. Each station had directions as to how to assemble the food. For instance, at the Ratatouille Pasta Bake station, I was instructed to layer pasta, cheese, and sauce. The stations had clear instructions as to how much of each ingredient should be used and in what order they should be added. This made it simple and stress-free. The one time I had questions, the owner was there to help me out.

The staff on hand that evening were the owner and two other employees. All three of them were polite and personable. After I arranged my food, I brought it to the label stations. The staff wrapped it, labeled it, and attached the cooking instructions to the top. The entrees were then stored in the refrigerator until it was time for the cooking party to end.

The rest of the evening, I was able to socialize more with my group of friends. Once I was ready to go home, my bags were tucked inside the cooler I brought. Attendees should bring a cooler or insulated container to carry the easy dinners home.

My two entrees fed me dinner for a week and a half. My easy dinners cost me around $30. That means I spent about an average of $2 an evening for dinner.

I would give the quality of food a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn't the most flavorful, but compared to what I would normally eat, it was certainly healthier. The entrees are items such as pasta, chicken, or seafood. I don't don't know many places where you can get a seafood entree for $2.00-$5.00 a serving. It is an added bonus that you can make easy dinner with a group of friends. Of course, you can visit by yourself during the scheduled cooking sessions at any time. You can view when the kitchen is open on the Entrees4U website.

All in all, I think Entrees4u is a great option for those people that don't know how to cook, don't like to cook, or don't have time to cook.
