Hollywood Casino is located at 1150 Casino Strip Resort Blvd. in Robinsonville, MS. Their telephone number is 662-357-7700. It is located across the street from Sam's Town and right next to Resorts. It is also located just down the road from the Microtel Inns and Suites and it is also located close to the Riverbend Links. You can view the website for the Epic Buffet here (www.hollywoodcasinotunica.com/epicBuffet.aspx).

This review is based on the buffet that takes place on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:00pm until 1:00am. On these two nights the buffet includes Filet Mignon and the Seafood Feast. Because I am somewhat cheap I had never really eaten crab legs before coming to this buffet. I just could not stand to pay $25.00 for them at Red Lobster. The first time I went to the Epic Buffet I did not really plan on eating them but after a few bites I became hooked. They are very good. I do not necessarily have to have buttem to dip them in but my wife soaks them in the butter. Also, I should note here that you can eat all the crab legs you want. If you want 5 pounds of crab legs you get 5 pounds of crab legs. Neither my wife nor I have ever had the filet mignon so unfortunately I cannot comment on that part of the buffet.

Other items on the buffet include Chinese and pizza. The Chinese might just be my favorite part. The pizza is also good but not earth-shattering. My wife enjoys the cream corn and green bean casserole. There is also a decent salad bar and once when we visited they had delicious Caesar salad but on return visits the Caesar salad was not available. The dessert bar includes a variety of cookies, pies, and cakes. There is also ice cream with a variety of toppings. The toppings include a variety of different candy bars. I personally enjoy eating the cheesecake.

As the name implies, Hollywood Casino is decorated with many items from Hollywood. There are exhibits from movies such as Titanic, Back to the Future, and Batman. Of all the casinos it probably has the coolest decor. The Epic Buffet does not have a lot of seating so be prepared to wait around 30 minutes or more depending on when you arrive on Friday or Saturday night. The first time we visited we waited around 30-45 minutes.

The total price of our meal was $53.38. The buffet is $21.99 per person and this includes a drink. The sweet tea is slightly above average. Regarding our ticket, the two buffets cost $43.98. Tax was $4.40 and we tipped $5.00 for a total of $53.38.

We have visited the buffets at Harrah's (Paula Deen's) and Horseshoe (Village Square). The Epic Buffet is far and away better than the Village Square at Horseshoe. I would give the Village Square 3 out of 5 stars and the Epic Buffet and Paula Deen's are 4.5 out of 5 stars. Paula Deen's has more casseroles and souther dishes than the Epic Buffet. The dessert bar may also be slightly better at Paula's. Definitely visit the Epic Buffet if you ever get a chance. I do not think you will be disappointed.
