Virginia Dads Take To The Streets

Tom Porter, founder of Vision4Children, and Ron Jagannathan, board member of Fathers For Virginia, took their message to Virginia commuters on July 8, 2006. "We plan on demonstrating on a regular basis," said Porter, "We encourage all local parents who feel letdown by the family courts to join us." Porter added, "Vision4Children.org will be online this week."

Australian Dads Speak Out On TVNZ

Take a look at this July 9, 2006 television newscast on tvnz.co.nz called The "F" Word. This video lasts about 15 minutes and shows interviews with distraught Australian fathers. It also includes demonstrations by fathers' groups including the Blackshirts. As aggressive as that group can be, it's still clear that their actions are born of love for their children. How anyone can miss that is beyond me.

Murray A. New York Advocates Advancing To Replace Unaccommodating Politicians

New York lobbyist Greg Fischer (631-394-9559) reports that family rights candidates have made their petition requirements. He's asking area residents to support the following people:

Juan Pagan in Assembly District 74 (jpagan50@earthlink.net)

Kevin Langberg in Assembly District 13

Waldo "Wally" Cabrera of Assembly District 6 (waldo@swmaxllc.com) He also states:

"We are also supporting opposition candidates in District 1, 3, 5, 88, and 130, a new candidate in Senate 47, and others. The list of those that helped is huge...thank you all."

Peter Molloy: "This is it now, it is all over for me..."

Former F4J activist and Deputy Leader of the Equal Parenting Alliance hasn't just tossed his costumes, he's retiring from fathers' rights activism altogether. In this IC Liverpool article entitled Father's rights veteran gives upMolloy states:

"This is it now, it is all over for me...I've been fighting for over 6½ years for my children to have contact with their father."

Most of the fathers I know who come through their court battle victorious are happy to continue with their advocacy to help those just starting the fight, so I wondered why Molloy would decide to quit now. He says the paper didn't get it quite right:

"It's a bit misleading with [icliverpool] saying I'm spending more time with my kids when if fact I'm not seeing them at all," he told me.
