I went to Wal-Mart and found the Equate Antacid Tablets. I bought 72 chewable tables for a little over a dollar. Since the physician told me to take two a day, I knew this was a great deal. This bottle has assorted fruit flavors in it and I knew they would probably be chalky because most antacids are. As soon as I got into the car I decided to open the package and take one while I was there. I have taken Tums before and I wanted to know if this product tasted worse before I left the store parking lot. I popped a yellow one in my mouth and started chewing. I knew that this would be a lemon flavor, but I didn't know if it would be bitter. This was actually not bitter or chalky at all. I think they are the same as Tums only they are a generic brand. They taste the same if not better. They also work the same and are much cheaper.
I have stuck to this brand and I use it for heartburn and for calcium intake. I love this product because of the price, but also the quality. I will keep buying this product because it works just the same as Tums! Also this product is guaranteed, it states it right on the package. If you are looking to save money this is an excellent product to use. If you are looking for a great antacid that will help save you pain and money this is it. You can find these at Wal-Mart today.
