I noticed that they still had a plastic applicator like Kotex. This was actually a better deal too because there were more tampons for a cheaper price. There were 18 regular and 18 super absorbency tampons. The box has many information snippets that are useful. First the plastic applicator is rounded, and is smooth. They say this is for added comfort. The cord is sewn the full length of the tampon too, so it will not come loose. There is also a cover sheet that keeps the tampon from shedding and allows for easy removal. There are also finger grips on the applicator, so it is easier to hold it when you are inserting the tampon. The tampon also expands in three ways so it conforms to your shape protecting you from leaks.
I thought I would try these because they seemed so similar to my regular tampons. During my period I decided to try one. I opened the box and noticed that each tampon was wrapped in a nice white wrapper with pretty butterflies on it. I unwrapped the tampon and used it as I normally would. It was comfortable to insert. It was easy to use. It did not leak while I was wearing it either. It performed just as well as the other. There are only two main differences in the products. The first is that the Equate brand tampon is a little longer, which might be uncomfortable to some. The second is that they are cheaper. If you are looking for a cheaper feminine product that will protect you from leaks, this is the product for you to try. There is no major difference between tampons. I actually am going to keep using these tampons because they work so well. They are not like other generic brands because they still have a plastic applicator. It is not made of cardboard like some.
