For the less lazy, they have all kinds of ab toning machines that if you do the same motion as a normal a crunch, but while on this machine, you will get better results. The truth is that the same movements equal the same results except by buying this product you will lose some weight, in your wallet.
Ab toning products spend the duration of their commercial giving credit to their machine while they have in tiny print at the bottom of the screen. "Use with diet and an exercise routine." Hey, isn't this supposed to be my exercise routine? I wanted this thing because I didn't want to have to diet and it said I only needed to use it 5minutes a day!
Save some money and submit to the reality that there is no magic machine for ab toning! You just need to put in the honest work.
Don't get me wrong. These ab machines work great with diet and exercise. If regular ab exercises bore you to death (I know they do me) then getting one of these machines may be exactly what you need to motivate you enough to work your abs. In this case I recommend the ab lounge. This machine will target all of the sexy ab muscles that you desire while still keeping things fun and interesting. The ab roller is another great option if you need help working your abs though this is not as fun as the ab lounge. It is still a cheaper option that will also support you neck giving you a safe comfortable workout. If the difference between desiring a different body and achieving the body you want is buying a piece of equipment to motivate you then it's definitely money well spent.
If you feel you do not need equipment here's a short simple guide to get the abs you want on your own with no equipment needed. There's a lot of work to be done to tone your abs but with only 3 simple steps this is as easy as it gets.
When you think about ab toning you must understand that the most important part of the solution is a good diet. You can have the greatest ab toning workout plan ever and never see any results. You will feel stronger and tighter but you won't see any definition until you remove the flab covering your muscles. Imagine you have a beautiful piece of art work all wrapped and covered up. You won't be able to see that art until you uncover it.
So there are 3 vital steps to ab toning:
1) Ab exercises- build the muscles to make them bigger and more visible.
2) A good diet- will keep your caloric intake down thus helping you lose that fat covering your abdominal muscles.
3) Aerobic exercise routine- will burn the fat covering those hard abs you have underneath the flab.
Follow these steps and stay consistent and you will see and feel the difference.
