Erin Andrews Video Peep Pictures: Have We Not Had Enough Yet?

Rochelle Connery
It's a sad day when sports fans would rather Google Erin Andrews video peep pictures than check out the latest trades in Major League Baseball.

For at least the fourth day straight, variations of "Erin Andrews peep pics," "Erin Andrews video peep," and the like have graced the top ten searches on Google Trends. What does that tell us about today's society? In an age when lascivious videos and photos rule the Internet, modeled by women who are more than willing to show what God gave them for free, perverts would rather ogle an exploited ESPN reporter. That's beyond sick.

What bothers me more is how many women want to see the video of Erin Andrews undressing in her hotel room, some just as much as men. In earlier years, women might have stuck together, and instead of calling her a sleaze, they'd take the position that she has been malignantly exploited by some creep at hotel with a video camera.

Let's face it; I'm not the only one who realizes that Erin Andrews is often more properly dressed than most actresses and similar celebrities, and she probably maintains a bigger brain to boot. Many fans and critics alike have testified to how friendly she is to people in the stands, and how she's not just another beautiful talking head. So why is she being treated as such?

The answer lies in society's mentality. Our moral compass is so messed up we'd probably be Googling the same keywords if it was Barbara Walters in Erin Andrews' place (though probably not for the same reasons.) Worse yet, I think we just like to see how far a celebrity will take a fall before they head for a nervous breakdown.

Put yourself in Erin Andrews' shoes for a day. What do you think is on her mind right now? Her work? If she's determined, sure, but she's got this peephole mess in the back of her head, as she will for several weeks to come, I'm sure. And notice that she hasn't released any malicious comments about the original peeping Tom. She's taking this debacle like a true woman, and I applaud her for that.

As for the Erin Andrews peephole video, I'm almost glad hackers set up all those computer viruses linked to the purported footage; anyone trying to get a glimpse of Erin Andrews nude in her hotel room deserves to get a Trojan.

Amen. This was a disgrace and someone should be prosecuted. But give this woman her privacy!

she has fake boobs, she deserves to be treated as "plastic"

    To QWORM:
As the expression down south goes, "Ain't that the truth" You get it lady. The author does not.

We are not interested in her background or her brains--she has none. That's not why she is thrust infront of ESPN's lenses. If intelligence were needed to be a sports reader, then there are more qualified women that this dumb blonde and Rochelle would be giving serious analysis. Like Pam Anderson, Anna Nicole, we just want to glee these dumb broads. Incidentally, I am a woman with a MSBE.

The irony of your argument is that erin andrews would be nothing if she were not a sexually appealing being. She (or perhaps ESPN) parades her sex appeal shamelessly. For a 'feminist' (which I bet my salary you purport to be) to support her is embarrassing - she would be flipping burgers if she wasn't 6' tall and gorgeous.

the man 2 IS NOT ME. He is piggy-backing on the "THE MAN" (first poster) to lull you into a false sense of security. That link is likely infected with a virus. Click it at your own risk. I AM NOT "the man 2"

Women have never, ever stuck together. You must be thinking "men". Or you are tripping on LSD.

Are you serious? You must be gay. I agree the concept and am po'd that Erin Andrews privacy was violated, but that first line is just gay.
