Erin Brady, Girlfriend of Steven Tyler, Involved in Club Fight

We all do this, right? Get in public fights with our boyfriend's fans? No? Well, according to PageSix at the New York Post, Erin Brady, Steven Tyler's girlfriend of the last two years, apparently thinks that's okay. On December 8 at Pangaea nightclub in Hollywood, Florida, she had a knock-down, drag-out fight with another woman.

The reason? As Erin came back from the bathroom, the woman was trying to take a picture of Steven Tyler. Whether on purpose or by accident, Erin blocked the shot, resulting in a verbal exchange that escalated into a very nasty, but short, fight. Hair was pulled, slaps and punches thrown, scratches inflicted before club security was able to break the two up. The Seminole Police showed up at about 4am, releasing the rocker and his pugilistic lady an hour later.

Fortunately for the gossip pages, this is not an uncommon trait in celeb significant others, though in most cases the fought-over issue is more personal for all people involved. For instance, everyone's favorite queen of shallow Paris Hilton claimed last year that she was punched in the face by Shanna Moakler, estranged-at-the-time wife of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker. Shanna says Paris was dating Barker, but Paris's boyfriend Stavros Niarchos thought otherwise, forcing Shanna away from Paris. Both women filed charges, but nothing came of them, and today Shanna and Barker are working on a reconciliation. Paris and Niarchos are no longer together.

In another case last summer, Nicole Richie's baby-daddy boyfriend Joel Madden, also known as the front-man for Good Charlotte, attacked Spencer Pratt at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where he was eating lunch. Pratt had given an interview years previously in which he was quoted calling Nicole Richie a "skinny bitch." Pratt claimed he'd been misquoted, but Madden wasn't in the mood for discussing the truth. Security forcibly separated the two and removed them from the hotel.

Sometimes the celebrity himself gets the punch. Just last summer, Amy Winehouse and her very new husband Blake Fielder-Civil got into a screaming match in the lobby of a Los Angeles hotel, culminating with her pushing him into a hedge. In Blake's defense, he tried to walk away from the fight.

OJ Simpson's girlfriend Christie Prodie is apparently well-matched to him, too. In 2005, her battery was dead, and OJ went to his friend Steve Dockendorf's house to request a jump (why he couldn't do it himself I don't know.) When Dockendorf arrived, Prodie lost it and went after OJ, then attacked Dockendorf when he said he'd called 911. "She was like a wild animal," he said. (I had been wondering how OJ got a girlfriend at all - mystery solved!)
