French-milling is a refining process that causes the soap to have a finer texture and to create this soap an exceptional manufacturing process was implemented to insure that it would be uniform in aroma, hue, and texture. Let me tell you a little about the founder Erno Laszlo. Dr. Erno Laszlo was born in Budapest Hungary and he obtained a degree in medicine from the Royal Hungarian Elizabeth University of Medical Sciences. This unique soap is filled with Safflower Seed Oil to cleanse the face without stripping it of natural oils. The soap is extremely robust in plant oils which clean dry skin without depriving or stripping it of moisture. Erno Laszlo Active Phelityl Soap has natural accelerators to promote cell turnover and is different from ordinary soap, because it is pH balancing. My skin is medium to dry in the winter and oilier in the summer. I was given the opportunity to try this wonderful soap during the winter, which is perfect for me, considering how much my skin needs moisture during this season.

The soap is great to use alone, but it is actually meant to be incorporated into a regular skin routine in conjunction with Erno Laszlo Phelityl Oil. It is good to use Phelityl Oil to remove your make-up and then wash your face with Erno Laszlo Active Phelityl Soap.

Despite the fact that I did not apply the oil on my skin before using the soap, I still experienced great results. I discovered that the texture of Erno Laszlo Active Phelityl Soap is very smooth and creamy. I absolutely loved the way the soap lathered and how it felt on my face. I must say that this soap feels different from any other facial soap that I have tried, meaning that after I rinsed my face, I did not feel any residue of soap on my skin, like I usually feel when I have used many other facial soaps.

One thing that Erno Laszlo recommends is to rinse your skin off with very hot water. You can use warm water, but I experienced much better results using hot water during the rinsing process and recommend that you use hot water for optimal results. I found that Erno Laszlo Active Phelityl Soap did an excellent job of cleaning my face and after rinsing my skin with hot water; my face had a wonderful glow and looked radiant.
