Erth Mineral Makeup Line: Review

Mineral makeup is great for your skin, and it's so great that you can sleep in it without breaking out. It's made of natural ingredients that are actually good for your skin, instead of makeup that clogs up your pores. All the products in the line are 100% natural, which means no chemicals, no preservatives, and no dyes- just pure crushed minerals. I've tried Physicians formula, Bare essentials, Micabella, and Erth mineral cosmetics. Out of the four, Erth minerals is the most affordable, and long-lasting. Erth minerals is a great product line that has really made a huge difference in my skin. Erth minerals isn't like any other kind of makeup I've used. I have very acne prone skin, and it's hard for me to wear makeup without breaking out. Erth minerals really cleared up my complexion, and gives my skin flawless coverage.

PROS: Erth minerals is not only long lasting and affordable, but also gives me nice coverage that looks natural as well. It's "Just the right" amount of makeup. It contains SPF 15 which is very beneficial to your skin, especially in the dry winter, and the hot summer. It blends in very well and gives your skin a nice glow along with it. The concealer, mineral veil powder, and the foundation all do these great wonders that most products you will find don't. Once applied and used right, Erth minerals can make your skin look flawless and smooth. I like it because it gives my skin that "Air brushed" look. It also makes my skin feel healthy and clean, too.

Erth minerals' other products, such as the blushes and bronzer are also create a very nice "Done up" look for going out, or just simply looking amazing! The colors are very vibrant, and appealing, as well as the eye shadows. They stay put all day until the minute I wash them off, which is really a convenience for me, considering I have very oily skin which results in my makeup smearing all the time. Not with Erth minerals, though!

I especially LOVE the lip balms. They give a sweet shade of color without going overboard with it, and are made of 100% natural ingredients as well as all the other products of this line. The lip balms cost around $5 for a 10 gram pot of this wonderful product. It may sound pricey, but it's completely worth it. These lip balms give my lips the smooth look and feel that I want, and soften my lips from being chapped.

CONS: There's nothing wrong with this product line in general, it's fantastic; but I would not suggest applying your face makeup without a primer or moisturizer first. This goes for any makeup you might be applying. The results you get from these products isn't by simply applying it, it's how you apply it. And that rule applies with every cosmetic line there is.

When my skin gets really dry from not moisturizing it, whenever I apply makeup it does not blend in well or stay put for as long as I want it to. If you apply a moisturizer or a primer with your makeup, it will look perfect, smooth, and give you a very flawless complexion as well. You won't have any "Cracks" or "Lines" if you apply just right!
